With great hope and joy we turn to you our Holy Father Francis, and ask you to appoint Saint John Paul II as the Patron of Europe.
Our request is inspired by a deep faith and hope that Saint John Paul II will solicit many graces and blessings for us from Heaven.
With the patronage of His Holy Pope, we anticipate a turnaround in times that are so difficult for Europe.
Saint John Paul II guided us with great confidence into the third millennium and in the apostolic letter “Novo Millennio Ineunte” of 6 January 2001, he called us to a courageous life of faith and complete trust in God: “Duc in altum!” We need the intercession of Saint John Paul II for ourselves, for our families, for the youth, for peace and justice, for renewal of faith, and for sacred vocations throughout Europe.
This is the humble request we entrust to you our Holy Father.
